Obituary: John Weber

John L. Weber, age 92 of Pennsauken, passed away peacefully at his home on May 2, 2026. He was born in New Brunswick, NJ on August 23, 1933, to the late John and Hannah Hannan and adopted by the late Lawrence and Elsie (nee Berryann) Weber.

John was the beloved husband of 65 years of the late Joan (nee Klatt); devoted father of John R. (Bonnie Chellman), Diane (Dennis) Trost, Janice (Michael) Annarelli, Carolyn Weber, Lisa (Philip) Pelura, and Stephen Weber (Jill Williams); loving grandfather of 14 and great grandfather of three.

Prior to his retirement, Mr. Weber was employed with Airco in East Riverton, NJ, retiring as a rare gas production manager after over 40 years of service. He was a proud United States Air Force Veteran, serving from 1952 to 1956. John was extremely devoted to his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren. He was a longtime parishioner of Mary, Queen of All Saints Parish/St. Cecilia’s Church in Pennsauken, where he served as head usher. Mr. Weber served as Past President of the Pennsauken Historical Society and as a Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 101 in Pennsauken.  He also enjoyed camping and road trips with his family and spending time in his woodworking shop.  

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Mary, Queen of All Saints, 4824 Camden Avenue in Pennsauken.  Entombment will follow at Calvary Mausoleum in Cherry Hill.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pennsauken Historical Society, PO Box 56, 9201 Burrough Dover Lane, Pennsauken, NJ, 08110.
