ATAX Tax Service Filing Final Tax Return Of COVID Victims For Free Through End Of Month

Through the end of the month, ATAX Tax Service in Pennsauken will file the final returns of those who have lost their lives to COVID for their loved ones free of charge to honor a young man named Cameron.

Cameron Lowrey died on September 21, 2021, leaving his family and friends devastated.  When Cameron’s final w2 came in the mail, his mother was lost as to what to do.

“I didn’t even have the strength anymore to open it,” Teresa DeFriece, Cameron Lowrey’s mother, said.

ATAX answered her plea and offered to file the return free of charge.

“We could not ignore the opportunity to contribute to our mourning community and nation by helping those affected by this deadly virus,” said Ms. Maritza Alston of ATAX in Pennsauken.

To honor Cameron Lowrey, ATAX is providing free tax returns through the end of March for those we have lost for their loved ones at no cost. Some exclusions apply; contact ATAX, located at 5900 Westfield Ave., at (856) 668-0064 for more info.
