The Youth Services Department at the Pennsauken Free Public Library has a week full of great activities during spring break!
On Monday, April 2, parents can bring their toddlers, ages 2-5, for a fun and active time of music, guided movements, and dance. Toddler Movement begins at 11:00 a.m.; and Baby Ballet starts at 11:30 a.m. There’s also a special LEGO Club from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Children of all ages can engage in S.T.E.A.M. and project-based learning through hands-on, interactive activities; coding games; KEVI Planks; origami; gears and building tasks; our brand new button-maker; and more!
On Tuesday, April 3, join us for Mad Science: “Slime Time!” Ooze into a gooey hour sliming around! Create slime using the Mad Science recipe and enter the Slime Olympics! Take home your own concoction of Mad Science Slime! Due to material and participant limits, registration is required for this fun event for kids ages 6-12. Please call (856) 665-5959 ext. 6.
Join Miss Susan and Miss Sabrina for a fun-filled time of stories, songs, and a craft. This is perfect for families with small children up to age 5. Storytime begins at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 4, and 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 5.
LEGO Club Jr. is great fun for little builders, featuring bigger blocks for smaller hands! LEGO Club Jr. is at noon on Wednesday, April 4, and 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 5.
Tail Waggin’ Tutors returns on Friday, April 6 at 1:00 p.m. We know reading on your own can be RUFF, so independent readers ages 6-12 are invited to practice their reading skills with a furry friend from Therapy Dogs International in a relaxed, judgment-free environment. Due to time and participant limits, registration is required for this program. Please call (856) 665-5959, ext. 6 for your 15-minute time slot.
So come out to the Library and enjoy your spring break!
