The Food Bank of South Jersey invites the community to its Food for Good Fest, held today at their Center for Health, Wellness & Nutrition, 1300 John Tipton Blvd., Pennsauken.
From 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Food for Good Fest features food truck fare for purchase, a pay-what-you-can farmers market, live cooking demos, and free preventive screenings and health resources.

Produce available for purchase is from Fairgrown Farm and Pinelands Alliance/Rancocas Creek Farms.
FBSJ wellness partners like Cooper University Health Care will be on-site offering free health screenings and education.

September is Hunger Action Month, a nationwide awareness campaign that brings food insecurity in local communities to the forefront, along with the everyday actions people can take to make an impact. As part of its Hunger Action Month activations, the Food Bank of South Jersey is bringing neighbors together for Food for Good Fest to highlight the connection between food and health.
