Family and friends are raising funds to help a Pennsauken resident recover after a serious medical emergency.
Vincent Iannuzzi of Pennsauken suffered a massive stroke while driving to work along Maple Ave. on July 27. The sudden loss of consciousness resulted in Iannuzzi crashing his vehicle, resulting in other serious injuries requiring multiple surgeries. He is currently at the Trauma Center at Cooper University Hospital, where he is receiving intensive medical care.
“The journey back to health is going to be a very long and grueling process with some level of permanate disability likely,” wrote Jean Narciso Rath for the GoFundMe page raising money to support the Iannuzzi family.
“Anyone who knows Vincent knows that he could never say no to helping another in need. He is a kind and gentle soul,” added Rath. “He and his family need the prayers of the community and help with medical costs, and costs associated with their need to be at the hospital daily for his treatment and advocacy.”
An updated shared on Aug. 10 stated Iannuzzi encountered a setback and is currently in the trauma center ICU. For additional information on Vince’s status, or to donate to his GoFundMe campaign, click here.
