New Procedures For Visitors Coming To Municipal Building
While the Township’s Municipal Building, located at 5605 N. Crescent Blvd., is open to the public, there are several new protocols in place to protect both visitors and staff during the coronavirus outbreak.
Visitors to the building must wear a mask before entering and ring the doorbell to be let in. Only six visitors are allowed in the building at one time. If that limit has been reached, individuals must wait outside until a visitor inside leaves.
Once inside, visitors are asked to report to the receptionist’s desk and provide both an ID and phone number for contact tracing purposes. Plexiglass partitions have been installed; there are markers placed six feet apart on the floor to promote social distancing; and hand sanitizer is available for visitors as they enter the building.
For those wishing to make non-cash payments for their taxes without entering the building or after hours can use the secure drop box located in the front of the Municipal Building.
The Township’s Building Department also has a 24 hour permit drop off box, located underneath the awning at the side of the Municipal Building. Permit applications, as well as pool and deck booklets can be found in the bins aside the drop box.
