Pennsauken Business Creating “Generosity-Based Networking” Mobile App

A mobile application currently in development is hoping to help professionals grow their business through a unique approach to networking.

LincSphere, a Pennsauken-based company, is working on the launch of a business networking platform of the same name. The app will be designed to leverage “generosity-based networking,” which focuses on building a network of strong, trust-based relationships by helping business contacts in various ways.

“Generosity-based networking is essentially the true heart of networking,” explains Chris Owens, founder and CEO, LincSphere. “The purpose of the app is to help improve the general culture of networking by encouraging better practices in professional relationship building.”

Originally developed solely as a web-based concept, LincSphere will be both accessible via mobile device and web browser. Currently company timelines project an iPhone version of LincSphere being ready as soon as this coming February; plans are in place to launch the Android app and new website by June.

To help move the project forward, a Kickstarter campaign will be started in the next few weeks.

“While we have completed the screen mock-ups for the app, and have programmers working on the development now, it takes more than a few guys toiling away in front of a computer screen to bring this product to the world,” explains Owens. “There are technical costs, such as hosting and software; administration and legal costs; funding to get this app to market and promoted; and of having people in place to help and support the community of users.”
