Pennsauken Fall Festival Rescheduled To November 4

By Frank Sinatra, AAP Editor

Because of the weather forecast for this weekend, the Pennsauken Fall Festival has been rescheduled to Saturday, Nov. 4, from noon to 4:00 p.m., at the Pennsauken Community Recreation Complex, located at the corner of Westfield and Bethel avenues. The Fall Festival also has a NEW rain date of Sunday, Nov. 5, at the same location and times.

Pennsauken Township will host its annual Fall Festival on Saturday, Nov. 4 (rain date Sunday, Nov. 5). This free, annual event, held from noon to 4:00 p.m. at the Pennsauken Community Recreation Complex on Westfield Ave., brings the Township community together in a family-friendly atmosphere.

“Pennsauken families will enjoy amusement rides, food trucks, and much more,” explains Mayor Vince Martinez. “Our residents and neighbors will definitely not want to miss out on this great event.”

Free for the public to attend, Pennsauken’s annual Fall Festival features a variety of entertainment. Children will be able to enjoy amusement rides, bounce houses, a petting zoo, face painting, and more. Families can take a short hayride to a “pumpkin patch,” where kids can pick out a small pumpkin to decorate (one per child). Throughout the event, attendees will also be able to purchase snacks and meals from a variety of food trucks. In addition, the festival’s popular “Vendor Row” will once again be set up along the complex’s parking lot, with a variety of crafters, businesses, and community organizations sharing their goods and services with participants.

Throughout the Fall Festival, there will be free parking, as well as a free shuttle, at the World Harvest Christian Center, located at 7201 Westfield Ave. The shuttle, provided by Pennsauken Township, is being provided for the convenience and safety of our residents and everyone from the surrounding communities attending the festival, as a portion of Westfield Ave., from Sherman Ave. to Cove Rd. will be closed during the event.

Pennsauken Township would like to thank the following businesses for their financial support of this year’s Fall Festival:

  • Gold Sponsors: Collex Collision Experts, Republic Bank
  • Silver Sponsor: Revolution Audio
  • Bronze Sponsors: MHS Lift, Nexus Transportation, Sir Speedy Signs, Print, Marketing

Crafters, businesses, and community groups are invited to join the Fall Festival as vendors. The only way to register as a vendor for the Fall Festival is through Pennsauken’s Parks and Recreation Department. For details, visit PennsaukenEvents.com or email jvazquez@pennsauken.gov.
