Pennsauken’s Senior Citizen Prom Held On April 22

Hello fellow seniors.

Sponsored by the Pennsauken Education Association through a PRIDE in Education grant and support from the Pennsauken School District, the Senior Citizen Prom will be on Sunday, April 22 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Pennsauken High School Cafeteria, 800 Hylton Rd.. This great annual event features lunch, great music to dance to, a photo booth, freebies, and more.

Seniors can RSVP for the event by calling (856) 662-8511 x4504. Please provide your full name, phone number, and number of people in your party.

AARP Tax Help Runs Through April 12

The Pennsauken Free Public Library is once again hosting AARP Tax Help sessions. This free service will be available in the Library’s Community Room, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Tax help will end on April 12. This is first come, first served and priority is given to seniors.

Residents taking advantage of this service need to bring last year’s completed return with them. In addition, residents will need to bring a photo ID, their social security card, and the social security information of any dependents.

Due to overwhelming demand, all appointments are filled. Walk ins will be accepted on a limited basis.

“Just For Seniors” Painting Party

The Camden County Board of Freeholders presents Paint Parties “Just for Seniors,” free to county residents ages 55 and older. Held at the Camden County Environmental Center, 1301 Park Blvd., Cherry Hill, parties begin at 11:30 a.m. with light refreshments; painting will begin approximately at noon and will conclude by around 2:00 p.m.
