Due to inclement weather, the Merchantville Mutt Strutt has be moved to the rain date of Sunday, June 12.
The Pennsauken-Merchantville Area Chamber of Commerce (P.M.A.C.) hosts the second annual Merchantville Mutt Strutt on Sunday, June 12 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. along Centre St. and Chestnut Ave. in Merchantville.
“We’re excited to host the second annual Mutt Strutt,” says Tim Ellis, chairperson of P.M.A.C. “This is a great event for the many pet lovers in our community and their four-legged friends.”
A day of fun for the whole family, the Mutt Strutt features a doggie parade and costume contest, food and music, vendors, pet adoptions, kid and pet activities, and more.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Animal Welfare Association, a private, nonprofit organization, operates the oldest and largest low-cost spay/neuter clinic, adoption center and no-kill animal shelter in South Jersey; and the Foundation for Pets, a non-profit organization that helps animal rescues offset veterinary costs.
P.M.A.C. would like to thank the many sponsors who have helped make the Mutt Strutt possible through their financial support: All Dogs Poop, Best Friends Total Pet Care, Cartun Hardware, Color Source, Inc., Dunkin’ Donuts, Garden State Animal Hospital, Inglesby and Sons Funeral Home, Jason’s Painting & Home Remodeling, John’s Landscaping and Outdoor Services, McFarlan’s Market, Mesa Signs, Paws To Heaven Pet Crematory, Primerica, Ellis & Associates, PSP Associates, LLC, Rhoads Metal Works, Inc., Route 130 Ride Thru Car Wash/Dog Wash, St. Clair CPA Solutions, Stevens Management Associates, and Worknet Occupational Medicine.
