PSE&G To Begin Restoring Roads With Permanent Paving In Pennsauken

PSE&G has completed gas main upgrades in several areas in Pennsauken. Now that the ground has settled, the utility will begin restoring roads with permanent paving.

According to materials provided to affected residents and businesses from PSE&G, “Our goal is to complete this work with minimal impact to customers. Police will be directing traffic, and residents will be able to drive on the roads once paving is complete. You will have access to your driveway throughout the work.”

Paving work will begin on Monday, Dec. 3, as well as Tuesday, Dec. 4. PSE&G is planning for two days of milling, then paving on Thursday, Dec. 6, weather permitting. The following Pennsauken roads will be worked on:

  • Southbound River Rd. between the 48th St. and 49th St. intersection, shoulder lane
  • Northbound River Rd. between 47th St. and 49th St. intersection, shoulder lane
  • 47th St. between River Rd. and dead end, curb to curb
  • 48th St. between River Rd. and dead end, curb to curb
  • June Rd. between River Rd. and Stow Rd., curb to centerline
  • River Rd. between Rt. 90 and north of Griffith Morgan Lane, north of trucking entrance, curb to centerline
