The 13th Annual Richard’s River Run 5K will be held on Sunday, April 28, at the certified course at Cooper River Park on North Park Drive, Pennsauken.

Participants can register to walk or run on site for $30. Registrants receive a run shirt while supplies last. Students can register for $15 and can pay an additional $10 for an event shirt.

The Tim Frantz Memorial Award, dedicated at the third annual Richard’s River Run in honor of Tim Frantz from Marlton, who succumbed to Ewing’s Sarcoma in September 2008 at the age of 18, is awarded during the post-race ceremony to the top male and female finishers.

Refreshments are available post-race during the ceremony.

Go4theGoal is excited and honored to have the support of the Phillies for this year’s run. All runners will receive a certificate for $8 savings for future Phillies Games. Runners and walkers will have the opportunity to meet the ball girls prior to the race. In addition, patient honorees attending the run with their families will receive tickets for the game later that day.

Proceeds from the run benefit Go4theGoal Foundation, a pediatric cancer foundation based in Pennsauken. All funds raised will benefit kids in the South New Jersey area that are battling cancer and being treated at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, and Nemours/A.I. duPont Hospital for Children.
