Special Presentation For Parents Of Disabled Children Held On June 8
Pennsauken’s Crescent Hill Academy, located at 7512 N. Crescent Blvd., will be hosting a free presentation for parents of disabled children on Thursday, June 8 at 6:30 p.m.
Representatives from the Law Firm of Hinkle, Fingles, Prior & Fischer will discuss several important issues, including:
- How to secure housing and residential support
- Funding and support services
- Guardianship
- Children transitioning from school to adult life
- Understanding and accessing the adult service system
By attending this free event, parents of disabled children will learn the options available to them concerning these matters.

Families Can Enjoy A Winter Wonderland At The Library
It’s that time of year again, when we gather together to celebrate and enjoy holiday and family traditions held dear. The Pennsauken Free Public Library is here to help you with books, magazines, CDs, and DVDs for planning, preparing, and enjoying your holidays; from cookbooks and craft books to fiction and more.
Additionally, our children’s department invites you to join us for family fun at the Winter Wonderland Festivities on Saturday, Dec. 20 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., held in the children’s area of the Pennsauken Free Public Library. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there, along with the “Frozen” princesses, Elsa and Anna, as well as some elf friends. During the event, children will be able to make crafts for gift giving. So put us on your calendar and come on out to celebrate with us!
Breakfast With Santa Held On Dec. 6
Pennsauken children have an opportunity to join Santa Claus for breakfast, from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6 at the PYAA Field House at Park and Elm streets.
There will also be face painting, music, balloon sculpting and gifts. Tickets are $6 for children and $9 for adults. The event is sponsored in part by the Pennsauken Education Association. All tickets must be purchased in advance. For more information, call (856) 665-1000 Ext. 151.
