Pennsauken Fall Clean-Up Day Held October 1
The Pennsauken Environmental Commission and the Township’s Parks and Recreation Department will be holding a fall clean-up day on Saturday, Oct. 1. Held from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., volunteers will be split between two locations: the Boat Ramp at Derousse Ave., and the Pennsauken Creek area by the Pennsauken Country Club.
Tippin’s Pond Clean Up Held On October 10
In anticipation of the opening of the Delaware Gardens Green Acres renewal project, Pennsauken Township is organizing a community clean up of Tippin’s Pond, 421 Cove Rd. on Saturday Oct. 10, from 10:00 a.m. to noon.
Masks and social distancing are required. Please wear appropriate clothing and shoes for outside work. Gloves, trash bags/cans, and clean up tools will be provided by Pennsauken Department of Public Works.

Tippin’s Pond Clean Up Held April 14
The Pennsauken Environmental Commission and the Township’s Park and Recreation Department have scheduled a community clean up of Tippin’s Pond, 421 Cove Rd., Pennsauken, on Sunday, April 14, 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., weather permitting.
Volunteers will be picking up trash and cleaning brush from the nature trails, fishing dock, and pond. Attendees are asked to wear long sleeved shirts, long pants, and appropriate footwear for muddy and uneven terrain. Participants are also encouraged to bring their own work gloves. Children who volunteer must be accompanied by an adult.
Cramer Hill Nature Preserve Cleanup On May 5
The Stewards of Open Space Camden County are hosting a community cleanup at the CCMUA Cramer Hill Nature Preserve and 36 St. in North Camden, Saturday, May 5, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Volunteers are asked to meet at 36th St. and Farragut Ave. Gloves, bags, and pickers will be provided.
