Sixth Pennsauken Job Fair Scheduled For September 27

Attention job seekers: Pennsauken Township, the Business, Industry, and Government Council of Pennsauken, Living Faith Christian Center, the Pennsauken-Merchantville Area Chamber of Commerce, and Dunkin’ Donuts are hosting the Township’s sixth annual job fair on Friday, Sept. 27. The event, held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Living Faith Christian Center, located at 2323 Rt. 73 in Pennsauken, will allow individuals to connect with local businesses and organizations with open positions.

“Family Fun Day” Celebrates Pennsauken High’s 60th Anniversary

The Pennsauken High School Alumni Association and the Pennsauken Township Board of Education are inviting the local community for a “Family Fun Day” on Saturday, Sept. 21, celebrating Pennsauken High School’s 60th anniversary. Held on the grounds of the high school, 800 Hylton Rd., the event features food, family fun, campus tours, and more. Fall sports will be played on the athletic fields; there will also be a dedication of the new turf football field with an Alumni Parade under the lights.

Pennsauken Holds Twenty-Seventh Annual Car, Bike And Craft Show

Hot rods, classic bikes, family fun, and football will be hallmarks of Pennsuken Township’s 27th annual Car, Bike, and Craft Show. Held on Sunday, Sept. 22, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., show participants line up and down part of the “Maple Mile,” starting at Pinsetter Bar & Bowl, 7111 Maple Ave., and stretching down towards Union Ave.

Camden County Household Hazardous Waste Collection Saturday

To help Camden County residents protect the environment, the Freeholder Board is hosting a Household Hazardous Waste Collection on Saturday, Sept. 14, at the Pennsauken Sanitary Landfill located at 9600 N. River Road. Residents can bring items to the convenient drive-through collection site from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
