SUBNAUTICA – An Other World Adventure

If you enjoy open world adventure survival games then the game I recently reviewed is just for you. Set in the oceans of another planet far, far away from the safety of Earth exists the water world of Subnautica. You play a lone survivor (or are you?) of a huge crash caused by these mysterious energy pulses of the space ship, Aurora, that lands you on the water covered surface of an unknown and completely unexplored planet.

Pennsauken Announces Personnel Changes To Key Township Roles

Pennsauken Township has announced the following changes to its municipal government, administration, and public safety program: Tim Killion has stepped down as a member of Township Committee to become the town’s administrator; Joseph V. Palumbo, Sr. has moved from interim administrator to public safety director, continuing his role as chief of the Pennsauken Township Fire Department; and Captain Phil Olivo became interim chief of the Pennsauken Township Police Department. These moves were made official at the Township Committee meeting on Thursday, June 3.

Township Fireworks Display Held On June 12

Pennsauken Township and its Parks and Recreation Department are holding a fireworks display with music on Saturday, June 12, at the town’s Community Recreation Complex on Westfield Ave.

Enjoying Dim Sum At Pennsauken’s Kim Sum

One of my foodie bucket list items was always to experience some good dim sum, a Chinese dish of small steamed or fried savory dumplings containing various fillings, which serves as a snack or main course. In my mind, I imagined filling my entire table with containers of these glorious bites and bits. At Kim Sum in Pennsauken, that is exactly what I did.

Primary Election Held Today

The 2021 New Jersey Primary Election will take place on Tuesday, June 8. Polls are open from 6:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

For those voting by mail, ballots were mailed out to eligible residents beginning in April. In addition to using the U.S. Mail, voters can also place their competed ballots in the drop box located in the Township’s municipal complex, 5605 N. Crescent Blvd.

Obituary: Larry Painter

Longtime Pennsauken resident Larry Painter passed away on May 29, 2021. He was 86 years old.

Larry was the beloved husband of Trudy (nee McCann); devoted father of Lisa McGilloway (Michael) and Stephen Painter (Bonnie); loving grandfather of Michael, Matthew, McCann, Daniel and Samara; dear brother of Eleanor Wilbur, Sharon Smith (Larry) and the late Ruth Smith, Florence Capri, Nancy Horner, Harvey Painter and Jane Scarano; and brother in law of Linda Lewis (Ken). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
