NJEDA Announces Application Launch Date for Grants for Businesses Impacted by COVID-19

The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) will launch the application for its Small Business Emergency Assistance Grant Program on Friday, April 3, 2020 at 9:00 am. A link to the grant program application will be posted on the State’s COVID-19 Business Information Hub. The grant program is part of a package of initiatives announced last week to support businesses and workers facing economic hardship due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus COVID-19.

McFarlan’s Market To Close This Month

Earlier today, McFarlan’s Market in Merchantville announced via social media that the store will be closing later this month.

“We will be closing the Merchantville location on December 14, 2019, while we continue to search for a buyer. Please know we did not take making this decision lightly,” according to a statement made on the store’s Facebook page. “We will VERY much miss our Merchantville family and the friends we’ve made over the last 9 years. You all made this a very special chapter in our lives that we will never forget.”
