All Around Pennsauken asked local establishments to submit local deals and specials in both Pennsauken and Merchantville as part of Small Business Saturday.
Samantha Paige Intimates, located at Trellis Plaza, 177 S. Centre St., Suite F, Merchantville, is holding a “buy one, get one half off” sale on Small Business Saturday. This sale applies to any item in the boutique. Hours of operation are 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Play With This Toys And Collectibles, 19 W. Park Ave., Merchantville, is holding a special Black Friday weekend sale. Spend up to $100 get 10 percent off; spend over $100 and get 20 percent off anything in the shop. Hours of operation on Saturday are 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Spirit To Sole Connection, 23 N.Centre St Merchantville, is an herbal shop that also provides reflexology sessions, reiki sessions and herbal consultations. The business blends herbal teas, natural organic body products, and other herbal products. The business will have pop-up sales every weekend in December. Hours of operation on Saturday are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Bergey’s Truck Centers Holds Grand Opening

On Oct. 19, Bergey’s Truck Centers held a grand opening ceremony of their new, state-of-the-art facility at 7255 North Crescent Blvd. Invited by Mark Bergey, president of Bergey’s Truck Centers, Pennsauken Mayor Betsy McBride and Deputy Mayor Jack Killion were given a tour of the over 54,000-square-foot facility.
All Around Pennsauken To Highlight Holiday Specials For Small Business Saturday
For the third year in a row, All Around Pennsauken will highlight local deals and specials in both Pennsauken and Merchantville as part of Small Business Saturday. Held on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, Small Business Saturday encourages shoppers to patronize small “brick and mortar” businesses in their community.
PMAC Beef And Bowl Held On October 21
The Pennsauken-Merchantville Area Chamber of Commerce (P.M.A.C.) is hosting a special Beef and Bowl event on Saturday, Oct. 21. Held from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. at Pinsetter Bar and Bowl, 7111 Maple Ave., Pennsauken, the event features four hours of bowling and shoe rental; buffet from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.; VIP lounge and cash bar; door prizes; and more.
“We’re excited to host this event at Pinsetter Bar and Bowl,” says Ann Marie McCusker, president of P.M.A.C. “This is not a business networking event. We’re inviting the community to join our members for a fun night out.”
Tickets are just $25 per person; proceeds will go to support P.M.A.C.’s mission to promote local business growth in the community.

SOCKTOBERFEST Held October 1
Standard Merchandising Co. in Pennsauken is kicking fall off with their first-ever SOCKTOBEFEST event. Held on Sunday, Oct. 1, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., at 7001 North Park Drive, families will be able to enjoy festivities at the company’s headquarters.
Local food trucks, live music, face painting, pumpkin decorating, games (with special prizes) and a petting zoo are just some of family-friendly activities that will be available for all to enjoy. At the event, attendees will also be able shop more than 50,000 pairs of finely crafted, made in America socks and tights priced at $1, $2 or $3 per pair. Merchandise includes cashmere, wool, cotton and merino socks for women, men and children and babies. The first 50 customers will receive a special VIP gift bag.
A proceed from all sales will benefit local charities including “Back on my Feet” and “Rock to the Future.”
Breaking Ground At Haddon Point Apartments

Fourteen years of frustration were buried with shovelfuls of dirt. Local officials, developers, and members of the community were on hand for the ceremonial groundbreaking of the Haddon Point apartment project, signaling the start of a new beginning for the property that once housed the well-known Pennsauken Mart. In recent years, this piece of land was associated more for a series of false starts than for its potential. Now this property has a more defined – and much more hopeful – future ahead.
Christmas In July Luau Benefits Angel Tree Program
The Pennsauken-Merchantville Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Christmas in July Luau on Thursday, July 27, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Inglesby and Sons Funeral Home, 2426 Cove Rd. For a $20 donation, participants will enjoy food, drinks, and entertainment.
Proceeds from the luau benefits Pennsauken’s Angel Tree program, which collects new, unwrapped toys for families in need. Last year, a record number of Pennsauken families were helped during the holidays thanks to generous community and business donations.
New Jersey Economic Development Authority Visits Edison Retail Solutions In Pennsauken

Bayada Home Health Care Opens Its Doors In Pennsauken

Sledgehammers in February were replaced with ceremonial scissors in June, as executives from Bayada Home Health Care, New Jersey Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno, and Township officials helped to officially open the home health care agency’s new facility on Haddonfield Rd. in Pennsauken.
