Pennsauken’s Annual Fall Festival On October 15

Pennsauken Township, in association with the Pennsauken Firefighters Association, will host its Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 15 (rain date Sunday, Oct. 16). This annual event, held from noon to 4:00 p.m. at the Pennsauken Community Recreation Complex on Westfield Ave., brings the Township community together with a family-friendly atmosphere.

October is History Month in Camden County! The Camden County History Alliance consists of over 40 different organizations. And during the month of October, these organizations, including the Pennsauken Historical Society, will be holding 70 different events!

Lions Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser On October 2

The Pennsauken Lions Club will hold their annual Ned Davis Memorial Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, Oct. 2, at Temple Lutheran Church Rt. 130 and Merchantville Ave., Pennsauken, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The cost is $10 per person.

Merchantville Music Festival This Afternoon

The ninth annual Merchantville Music Festival will be held on Saturday, Sept. 24, from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m., at the Merchantville Downtown Parking Area.

Pennsauken Fall Clean-Up Day Held October 1

The Pennsauken Environmental Commission and the Township’s Parks and Recreation Department will be holding a fall clean-up day on Saturday, Oct. 1. Held from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., volunteers will be split between two locations: the Boat Ramp at Derousse Ave., and the Pennsauken Creek area by the Pennsauken Country Club.

Facebook Live Event With Pennsauken’s Mayor, Deputy Mayor Held September 21

After a successful live stream last May, Pennsauken Mayor Jessica Rafeh and Deputy Mayor Nicole Roberts will be hosting a second Facebook Live Q&A session on Wednesday, Sept. 21, at 7:00 p.m. Available for viewing on Facebook @PennsaukenTwp, the two Committee members will once again provide updates on what’s happening in town, as well as answer questions directly from residents.

Community Invited To Car And Bike Show, Fall Festival

The Pennsauken community is invited to attend two popular public events: the Car and Bike Show, held on Sunday, Sept. 18, and the town’s Fall Festival, on Saturday, Oct. 15.

“In the next few weeks, we have not one, but two public events that are wonderful opportunities to get outdoors and enjoy a great time with our neighbors,” said Pennsauken Mayor Jessica Rafeh. “We can’t wait to see everyone there!”

Toy And Collectible Street Fair Held On September 10

Play With This Toys & Collectibles presents its annual Toy and Collectible Street Fair on Saturday, Sept. 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Held along West Park Ave. in Merchantville, the event showcases a variety of new and vintage toys, games, and collectibles for sale.

Annual Labor Day Wreath Laying Ceremony Held September 2

Labor leaders, public officials and members of the local community will gather in Pennsauken on Friday, Sept. 2, to celebrate workers across our country at the annual AFL-CIO wreath laying ceremony. This annual event has been held for over 120 years at the Peter J. McGuire Memorial, located at Arlington Cemetery, 1620 Cove Rd., Pennsauken, where the labor leader and “Father of Labor Day” is interred. The ceremony begins approximately at 11:15 a.m.

Township To Close Boat Ramp For Repairs, Changes

Earlier today, Pennsauken Township posted an online announcement that the boat ramp on Derousse Ave. would be closed for repairs beginning Friday, Aug. 12. This move has been prompted in response to concerns voiced by residents about activity occurring there.
