Pennsauken STEM School Ranked One Of New Jersey’s Best

School Families: The Board of Education and I would like to share some wonderful news about Pennsauken Public Schools, in particular Roosevelt STEM School. Roosevelt STEM School began as Burling Elementary School in the 2021-22 School Year. Burling was a K-5 Elementary School that was used as a catalyst to create Roosevelt STEM School, which is currently a K-6 School that will become a K-8 School in the 2024-25 School Year. Moreover, the first year of the Roosevelt STEM School project was the 2021-22 School Year at Burling Elementary School.

We are soon approaching the start of the 2021-2022 school year. We look forward to seeing all of our students back to school this fall; and I assure you that this will be a fun and exceptional school year for our children. We are taking every step to make certain the start of the school year is safe, while ensuring that students have every academic and extra-curricular opportunity they would have any other year.
An Update On Our Schools And End Of Year Celebrations

As I write this, we are currently in the sixth week of remote learning and everything is going very well in Pennsauken Public Schools. The Board of Education and I wish to thank all the parents, grandparents, and guardians for their hard work. We are going through the end of year motions like every other school district, but we know how hard you have worked, the time you have put in, and the sacrifices you have made. For that, we say thank you.

Spring Semester In Pennsauken Off To A Great Start

February and the spring semester is upon us. We have had a wonderful and diligent school year thus far. Thank you to the administrators, teachers, parents, and students for their hard work during the New Year. I encourage everyone to stay upbeat and positive as we approach this semester and standardized testing. Let’s show our students that there is no mountain too high for them to climb, either physically or academically.
Celebrating A Learning-Filled November

I would like to first thank the administrators, teachers, staff, parents and students for their hard work during November. In addition, I would like to thank all Township and School District personnel, as well as the Board of Education, for assisting us with our first “Touch-a-Truck” event. It was an enormous success. Thank you to all the parents and students who came out to support this event.
A Strong Effort In October For Pennsauken Schools

As we put a close on October in the 2016-17 school year, I would like to first thank the teachers and students for their hard work during this month. I understand that teachers are the backbone of our district and I am especially grateful for their diligence. Students, as school work gets harder, please remember these words from Pele: “Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.”
