County To Begin Roadwork On Haddonfield Road

By Frank Sinatra, AAP Editor

Camden County announced that roadwork will begin next week on Pennsauken’s portion of Haddonfield Rd. The project, which extends from the Rt. 90 ramp to Maple Ave., constitutes an almost $2 million infrastructure investment.

Work is scheduled to begin on or around Monday, Nov. 16, weather permitting. Initially, crews will focus on constructing curb, driveway, and ADA ramps through the end of the year. The scope of work also includes the installation of inlets and storm water pipe, as well as guide rails; concrete roadway construction; milling and resurfacing of the roadway; and putting in traffic striping, signs, and raised pavement markers.

Most of the work on Haddonfield Rd. will involve the closure of a single lane during working hours. The project is estimated to take 250 calendar days to complete.
