By Frank Sinatra, AAP Editor

Despite the ongoing pandemic, Pennsauken is honoring those in our community that served our country in the armed forces as part of Veterans Day.

Veterans Day Service At VFW Post

Members of VFW Post 1270 and AMVETS Post 101 will be holding a Veterans Day service on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 11:00 a.m., at VFW Post 1270, located at 2324 Penn St. in Pennsauken. The ceremony will be outdoors, while observing all COVID-19 regulations. Masks will be required to enter the Post to use the restrooms; participants will be asked to maintain social distancing; hand sanitizer will be available; and VFW members will insure that the number of people who may enter the Post is limited to 25 percent of capacity. All members of the community are welcome to attend.

Online Wall Of Honor

Located on Pennsauken Township’s website, Pennsauken’s online Wall of Honor recognizes Township residents, past or present, living or deceased, that proudly served in our nation’s armed forces.

This is not a complete list and will be periodically updated. If individuals know of a past or present resident, living or dead, who has served in the military that is currently not included on the Wall of Honor, they can submit the name via an easy-to-use online form.

To view the list or to submit a name, visit http://www.twp.pennsauken.nj.us/content/pennsauken-wall-honor.
