Pennsauken Township Holds Summertime Anti-Litter Poster Contest
Area children can participate in a special poster contest designed to battle litter in our community.
The Pennsauken Township Anti-Litter Poster Contest is sponsored by the Pennsauken Township Green Team, Pennsauken Public Schools, and the Delaware Gardens Neighborhood Initiative. Open to children in kindergarten through twelfth grade, poster entries must include an original concept and provide a positive message and focus on solutions to Pennsauken’s litter problems.
“Littering is a big issue in our community, but sometimes it takes a small approach to come up with an answer to fix it,” says Betsy McBride, Pennsauken Township deputy mayor. “We look forward to seeing what our young people come up with.”
The deadline for submissions is Friday, Sept. 7. For poster requirements and additional details, visit the Pennsauken Township website.
