Township officials are planning plenty of family fun for Pennsauken’s Play Day for children 12 and under on Saturday, May 30. Held from noon to 3:00 p.m. at Welcome Home Jake’s Place, 2400 Merchantville Ave., the event will feature activities at the playground and the Pennsauken Free Public Library, food trucks, and family fun.
“Welcome Home Jake’s Place is one of our most special community spaces,” said Pennsauken Mayor Patrick Olivo. “We’re excited to host Pennsauken’s Play Day.”
“It’s great that so many Pennsauken families come to enjoy both this awesome playground,” said Pennsauken Deputy Mayor Vince Martinez. “We invite our residents to bring their little ones on May 30.”
The Welcome Home Jake’s Place all-inclusive playground features open layouts, ramps, multi-sensory equipment, and traditional play structures that accommodate a wide range of physical, sensory, and developmental needs. The entire site is fully fenced and includes rubberized surfacing throughout, creating a safe and accessible environment for all users.
