PHS One Act Festival October 24 And 25

Pennsauken High School hosts its inaugural One Act Festival this week. Four plays will be presented, all of which are directed by PHS seniors:

  • “Interior: Panic,” directed by Aleksei Knaus
  • “Check, Please!,” directed by Molly Moran
  • “Love, K,” written and directed by Eustacia Pyne-Bailey
  • “Arabian Nights,” directed by PHS senior Angela Nguyen

Performances are at the PHS Auditorium, 800 Hylton Rd. Show times are 7:00 p.m. on both Thursday, Oct. 24, and Friday, Oct. 25. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors.

PYACT Performs “Disney’s Frozen Junior” July 26-28

Pennsauken Youth Action Committee’s performances of “Disney’s Frozen Jr.” will be held on Friday, July 26, through Sunday, July 28, at Pennsauken High School, 800 Hylton Rd.

PYACT Performs “Mary Poppins Junior” July 27-29

The Pennsauken Youth Action Committee’s performances of “Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s Mary Poppins, Jr.” will be held on Friday, July 27 through Sunday, July 29 at the Pennsauken Intermediate School, 8125 Park Ave.

Adapted for children ages 7 to 14, “Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s Mary Poppins, Jr.” is based on the popular Disney-inspired Broadway musical that played for over 2,500 performances and received multiple Olivier and Tony Awards nominations.
