Friends Of The Library Holds Bake Sale On February 9

By Arlene Miller, Friends of the Pennsauken Free Public Library

Prepare to indulge your sweet tooth at our upcoming bake sale on Saturday, Feb. 9, in the Library lobby. We’ll get started at 11:00 a.m. and go until 3:00 p.m., or until we run out of goodies, whichever comes first. You probably noticed that this is a bake sale, not simply a cookie sale, as we’ve held over the last year or so. So many people asked for brownies or cakes or nut breads at our previous “cookie” sales that it only made sense for us to offer whatever treats our creative bakers decide to bring us. So come early to get the best selection!

Zinburger Dine And Donate Benefits Pennsauken Free Public Library

By Arlene Miller, Friends of the Pennsauken Free Public Library

By bringing this flyer with you to Zinburger Wine and Burger Bar in Cherry Hill on Sept. 25, a portion of the proceeds from your meal will benefit the Pennsauken Free Public Library.

Due to the success of last year’s Dine to Donate event at Zinburger Wine and Burger Bar, we’re holding a repeat performance on Tuesday, Sept. 25, from 4:00 – 10:00 p.m. and you’re all invited! Flyers will be available at the Library, so grab a couple for yourself and your friends and show them to the server when you order. That way, the Friends will get back 20 percent of your sales at absolutely NO cost to you. It’s on the restaurant. Whatever profits we make from this win-win evening will of course help the library, as do all our events. Zinburger is located at the Towne Place at Garden State Park, 923 Haddonfield Rd., Cherry Hill. If we all plan to go there really hungry, we can help make this Dine to Donate even more successful than last year!
