Pennsauken Police Trunk Or Treat On October 16

The Pennsauken Township Police Department invites the local community to its third annual Trunk or Treat event on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at 2400 Bethel Ave. Trick or Treaters will be able to safely get candy and other snacks from vehicles decorated for Halloween. Food trucks will also be on site for participants to purchase meals. In addition, trophies will be awarded to the top five trunks!

Health And Wellness Fair This Saturday

Pennsauken Public Schools will host its annual Health and Wellness Fair on Saturday, April 27, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at Pennsauken High School, 800 Hylton Rd. This popular event is designed to promote and provide valuable resources to individuals and families as well as the local community.

Pennsauken Fall Festival Rescheduled To November 4

Because of the weather forecast for this weekend, the Pennsauken Fall Festival has been rescheduled to Saturday, Nov. 4, from noon to 4:00 p.m., at the Pennsauken Community Recreation Complex, located at the corner of Westfield and Bethel avenues. The Fall Festival also has a NEW rain date of Sunday, Nov. 5, at the same location and times. 

Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Festival Comes to Pennsauken

The Pennsauken Free Public Library is proud to be chosen as host of the third annual Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Festival. Sponsored by the Asian American Alliance in South Jersey, the festival, which runs from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 7, celebrates the rich culture heritage of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in South Jersey and the United States.

National Night Out In Pennsauken Held On August 6

UPDATED: We learned today that this year’s National Night Out celebration and the Pennsauken Farmer and Food Market has been moved to the Township’s Municipal Complex, 5605 N. Crescent Blvd. This change was announced after the August hard copy edition of All Around Pennsauken went to print.

Pennsauken’s first repsonders are holding a special event during National Night Out, Tuesday, Aug. 6, an annual community-building campaign that is designed to make neighborhoods a safer, better place to live.

Freeholders And Visit SJ host Down and Derby Wine Festival

Camden County and Visit South Jersey are hosting the inaugural Down and Derby Wine Festival on May 4 at Cooper River Park. The event will feature tastings and wines from various South Jersey wineries, as well as instructional sessions on how to bet on the Kentucky Derby.
