Cooper River Bridge Spans In Need Of Emergent Work
Due to emergent structural work to two bridges that pass over the Cooper River, the Freeholder Board’s Department of Public Works will begin construction on both the Grove St. and Cuthbert Blvd. bridges. To facilitate the construction, detours will be in place beginning on or about July 23. The exact timing and completion of both projects may be altered by weather and other factors.
Westfield Avenue Milling And Paving Project Finished Ahead Of Schedule

Last month, Camden County began a milling and paving project along a section Westfield Ave. Based on initial estimates, the work running from 42nd St. to Tinsman Ave. was to take several weeks, weather permitting. However, as the concrete under the street was in much better condition than anticipated, the road work was able to be completed at the end of the month.
PSE&G Begins Gas Main Replacement Work In Pennsauken
PSE&G has begun replacing gas mains in a portion of Pennsauken as part of a $905 million program to modernize its system.
Work is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, April 17 and will occur on the following roads:

PSE&G To Begin Roadway Restoration In Pennsauken Township
Camden County Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo has been notified that Public Service Electric and Gas (PSE&G) has finished upgrading a portion of its aging gas lines in Pennsauken Township. Now that the ground has settled, crews will be paving roads from May 25 through June 2, weather permitting.
Police will be directing traffic around work areas, and residents will be able to drive on the roads once paving is complete. Homeowners will have access to their driveways at all times.
