Santa, Hayrides, At Pennsauken High School
A special “Santa In The Field House and Holiday Hayride” event will be held tonight, Friday, Dec. 10, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Pennsauken High School Field House, 800 Hylton Rd.
Admission is completely free; families can take pictures with Santa and tour the grounds of the high school on a hayride adventure. There will also be giveaways, hot chocolate, and candy canes.

The foster parent, Luisa, who lives in Pennsauken, says the litter box-trained kittens, who will be six months old this month, are very friendly and “love to snuggle up on you!
Please be a bit patient if you don’t hear back immediately because the foster family works full-time.
Veterans Honored In Pennsauken
Pennsauken’s Haunted Hayride Is TONIGHT!
Pennsauken Township’s annual Haunted Hayride will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 27, from 6:15 to 9:15 p.m. at the Pennsauken Country Club, 3800 Haddonfield Rd.
Sponsored by the Township’s Youth Action Committee, the Haunted Hayride features ghosts, ghouls, goblins, and the walking dead providing scary fun for the whole family, as guests ride around in a hay wagon pulled by a tractor. It’s a great bargain, as the cost for the Haunted Hayride is just $2.00 per person.
In addition, Pennsauken’s first responders will be handing out Halloween candy to participants.

Pennsauken Police Investigating Fatal Hit And Run

In a message shared via social media, the Pennsauken Township Police Department enlisted the help of the community to find a hit and run driver that killed a pedestrian in the early morning hours of Oct. 19.
“The Pennsauken Township Police Department and the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office are investigating a fatal hit-and-run motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian and a single motor vehicle,” wrote Pennsauken Police via an online statement.
At 12:06 a.m. this morning, a vehicle described as a silver color SUV, believed to be a Mercedes-Benz between the model years of 2002 and 2005, collided with a pedestrian on the southbound side of Rt. 130 at the Drexel Ave. intersection. The victim, currently only identified as a 32-year-old male, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The vehicle experienced heavy front-end damage and fled the scene of the accident.
Anyone who has information regarding the crash or the fleeing vehicle involved in the hit and run is asked to contact Sgt. Kern or Ptl. J. Martinez of the Pennsauken Township Police Department’s Traffic Division at (856) 488-0080 x3301.
Virtual Public Information Center For Multi-Use Trail Project Held Tonight
Residents are invited to a Virtual Public Information Center for the proposed Pennsauken-Merchantville Multi-Use Trail Project. The purpose is to inform the various stakeholders of the proposed plan for the project.
The format for the Public Information Center will be a brief presentation followed by a period for questions and answers. The public will have an opportunity to review exhibits, ask questions, and discuss any concerns.
Pennsauken Township, Catalyst Experiential Cut Ribbon On Community Landmark

For the past two years, Catalyst Experiential, a Newtown Square-based company that integrates visual communication technology with local landmarks, infrastructure, and community experiences, has worked with the Township of Pennsauken to create something truly unique that welcomes residents and visitors into the community. On Rt. 38, a gaudy, pink-colored building that once held a stereo repair shop has been transformed into a “living clocktower,” a landmark with green spaces, water features, and more, all created without any financial cost to the Township or its taxpayers.
