Students learned about life in space, how rockets are launched into space, planets in our solar system, as well as gravity and its effect on our planet. Activities included a space presentation by the Franklin Institute, rocket launches, space songs, space crafts, a display of an actual tire used in a past spaceship launch provided by NASA, and a display of rocket ships built by kindergarten students.
