Fundraiser For Pennsauken Native Held On January 11

Bryson’s Irish Pub, located at 3402 Cove Rd., is holding a fundraiser on Wednesday, Jan. 11 for Pennsauken native Desiree Fantini, who is currently battling breast cancer.

Bryson’s Irish Pub is holding a fundraiser on Wednesday, Jan. 11 for Pennsauken native Desiree Fantini, who is currently battling breast cancer.

Fantini was diagnosed with breast cancer in May of last year and has already completed six rounds of chemotherapy, as well as a double mastectomy. She will need reconstructive surgery upon completion of 15-23 rounds of radiation, which will begin sometime this month.

Funds raised during this event will go to help support Desiree and her two young children as she fights this disease.

The fundraiser is held at Bryson’s Pub from 7:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. Fifty percent of the proceeds from bar sales during this time is being graciously donated by Paul Bryson. The event also features food, a 50/50, silent auction, and more.

The rain date for Desiree’s fundraiser is Wednesday, Jan. 18.
