Grace Episcopal Fall Fair Held October 29

Grace Episcopal Church, 7 E. Maple Ave., Merchantville, is holding a fall fair on Saturday, Oct. 29, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The event features a large basket and gift card raffle; attendees can buy tickets to win one of three great prizes: a $1,500 Wegmans gift card, a $500 Wawa gift card, and a $250 Burlington store gift card.

The Fall Fair also includes Santa’s gift shop, where children to buy affordable gifts for mom and dad; a running train display by the Cherry Valley Model Railroad; and great food, including delicious Spanish food from the kitchen, as well as bake goods and deli table; and more.  

“Frost On The Pumpkin” Event This Saturday

The Pennsauken Historical Society will open the Griffith Morgan on Saturday, Nov. 20, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., for our annual “Frost on the Pumpkin” event, where we celebrate the change of seasons from the bounty of the harvest to the long winter ahead. Our volunteers will be dressed in their historical outfits to make you feel as if you are living in the year 1710!

Turkey Trot And Food Truck Festival On November 20

Pennsauken Public Schools is planning a Turkey Trot and Food Truck Festival on Saturday, Nov. 20, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Held at Pennsauken High School, 800 Hylton Rd., the day will include a 1-mile walk, a 2-mile run, and a 100-yard event for younger participants. There will also be family fun activities, such as multiple bounce houses, face painting, music, and much more.

In addition, the District has booked several delicious food trucks that are sure to meet a variety of tastes! All activities are free, with the exception of the food trucks. The day will also feature tours of the high school’s facilities to interested members of the public.
